Jil Sander kind of got all the credit for the neon revival and colour blocking that's been sprinting round. Anna della Russo certainly rammed it down our throats while we were still wearing woolly tights and a million layers. But now I can actually consider wearing something colourful, it's become clear that Cacharel was massively overshadowed, and unjustly as well. Was the collection better than Sanders'? Different.. not the same kind of thing being portrayed, but the colours are equally as good. And if you're not a Vogue editor, or a multi millionaire, or a garish prick, then Cacharel looks much more appealing.
