PikaNumber is the first app I created for Android. I needed an app that can easily pick a random number between two given numbers. There are random number apps out there but they were so badly designed in terms of visual appearance that I decided to make my own.

I created this app using Adobe Flash. The features are very basic as it was designed to be a very quick and easy to use app. The only options are to pick the smallest and largest number, and if numbers are allowed to be repeated, meaning that if you choose 1 as smallest and 10 as largest, that all 10 numbers will be picked once before starting over.

RandoMP3 is a package of two tools; "Audition" and "Charger".

With Audition you can: Play a random folder of media files in winamp, shuffle the order of media files (can also remember shuffle settings per folder), move or delete current song being played, move or delete current folder being played, skip the next random folder to be played, create user profiles, browse current folder being played (open in explorer), download album art, automagically delete folders that have no music.

With Charger you can: Create profiles per device / user, fill device or folder with random tracks or folders of music until device is full or predefined quota is reached.

Cyber-D's Autodelete can delete old files in a folder (and subfolders) you selected. Simply select the folder you wish to clean (downloads for example), set the rules (older than 30 days since created) and how to delete (move, recycle, secure delete). The cleanup is done on system startup only so it does not stay open in the background or you can run the cleanup manually. Log files are created per clean session and filters can be applied. Cleaning status window, run on startup and log files can be disabled if you wish.

 

If you are not satisfied with Autodelete, then you might want to give an alternative software like Belvedere a try. Another alternative is SyncBackSE if you fiddle with the configuration a bit.

If you get an "Error 5:" message when autoDelete runs, then you most probably have UAC (User Account Control) turned on. The only way to run autoDelete with UAC on is by running it as an administrator. To do this right-click on the autoDelete shortcut and go to the 'advanced' tab, then the 'advanced' button and activate 'run as administrator'. The program will not give an error but you will get a UAC warning every time the program runs. I have not found a way to avoid this, so the only advice I can give is to disable UAC by going to the control panel and in the search type 'disable UAC', you will be given a link to disable UAC.

Prevents the screensaver from showing up when you are on a certain website (for example YouTube) or watching a video in your favorite video player. Simply enter (part of) the window title of the application you are using to watch your video. If you are watching a video in a browser, simply enter part of the title of the browser window (for example YouTube). The application is free without limitations or advertising. Donations to the developer are always welcome.

Wallpaper Shifter is a little program that starts when you login to Windows and picks a random wallpaper from your list. Depending on the wallpaper width and height, it can automagically scale it for you to fit your desktop without deforming it's proportions. It does not remain running in the background so no system resources are used. Optionally you can also delete / change the current wallpaper on demand if you do not like what you see. A shortcut to “Delete current wallpaper” is provided on the desktop.

Cyber-D's SQL wizard makes it easy to generate SQL queries from CSV data. This tool is ideal for people who need to insert large amounts of data into an SQL database. If you always receive Excel documents and need to insert the data into an SQL database, then this tool is ideal. Simply save the Excel document as a Comma Separated Value, import the file, change the variables (see video tutorial on product's website), click parse and save as SQL file. Now you can import the file in your SQL database.

 

1. Export the Excel document as a CSV file (where “;” is used as a separator).
2. Run SQL Wizard and browse for the csv or txt file.
3. Give the columns in the CSV a unique identifier in the “CSV Column identifiers” field. You can use any name you like, as long as it’s between the [square brackets] and seperated by a semicolon. These variable names represent the columns of the CSV document in the same order.
4. Modify the “SQL Insert Query” field to match your table name and table field names. Use the CSV Column identifiers you entered as values. 
5. Click on “Parse” to generate the SQL Queries.
6. Click on “Save as SQL” to save the SQL query on your desktop.
7. Open the SQL file for inspection and load into SQL database when satisfied.

This tool can also be used to create any other type of queries if you modify the SQL Insert Query string to your needs.

A great alternative for my SQL Wizard is Exportizer. It has a lot more functions, processes data faster and supports more database formats.

Cyber-D's Image Sequence Viewer makes it easy to quickly view a sequence of images as an animation. You can change the frame rate, step frame-by-frame, loop the video and include images in subfolders. Ideal for watching your sketch animation or archived webcam images.

Cyber-D's DriveHide makes it easy to hide drives from the Windows Explorer window in Windows Vista and Windows 7. If you have one of those 6-in-1 cardreaders for example, you probably have 6 extra drive letters in your Explorer window. You probably only use 5 out of 6 slots and it's always a guess in what drive your card ended up in. Why not simply hide the drives you never use and make your life easier?

Cyber-D's Tetris is a free tetris game with some nice visual effects, sounds and highscore list. Sound effects can be disabled. Keyboard controls are simple and can be customized. Highscore position can be seen live while playing.

Cyber-D's SQL Backup is designed to schedule and backup remote SQL databases. Using a PHP script that you upload to your server, Cyber-D's SQL Backup can download a dump of the specified SQL database and save it locally on your computer. You can enter how frequent the backup is to be run (minimum of once a day) and how many last backups to keep. The backups are stored on your local computer. Because Cyber-D's SQL Backup downloads SQL dumps using PHP, it might not be the best solution if you have HUGE databases over 10Mb. However if you wish to keep backups of your blog or other small databases, then this tool might be right for you. The backups are made at midnight and the exact hour can be changed in settings.ini (runathour=0) where 0 is the hour the backups are to be run.

Cyber-D’s AutoReboot can automagically reboot a computer when there is no internet connection detected. This can be very useful for servers and kiosk computers that require a constant internet connection and you want to save yourself from walking to the server and rebooting it manually to restore the internet connection.

The Starck Clock screensaver is a clock screensaver inspired by the Fossil ‘O-Ring’ wristwatch designed by Philippe Starck. This clock is also available as a Windows Gadget.

Cyber-D's Webcam Archiver can save any webcam image from a URL. You can create multiple profiles for every webcam you enter. The images are saved in a folder you selected with profile and date subfolder names. History of images can be adjusted to prevent your disk from filling up with images. Smart save can detect changes in images and can skip the image from being saved. Intervals can be adjusted or set to auto.
