Just watching a documentary about Elizabeth Taylor. She was SO fabulous. You can't hate that kind of indulgence. It's too child-like. It's completely beyond ignorant. It's mesmerising as opposed to infuriating. You can't even be envious of her because you can't even fathom that kind of wealth, that fame, that existence. She married 8 times. She used to lay her jewellery out on her bed when her friends came round to show them like a little girl does with dolls. She's a hugely false idol - but you're allowed those as well you know.
