Looking at photos I've saved from all over the place of menswear and menswear inspired outfits. How unbelievable are those Raf Simons oxfords? Whyyyy hasn't anyone copied them for scruffs like me to have instead?! And I know clutches with studs all over them are a bit late but I love the idea of a suit with one (YES I'm still thinking about suits........). CLASSIC is a word that some people shudder at when it comes to clothes I think (I do myself sometimes) for fear of looking dated but menswear for the girls always looks so futuristic to me if you get it right - like the girl in the second photograph (sorry, I can't remember where I saved it from) - she looks SO GOOD, as if no one's ever worn anything like it before. But it's so simple, and classic, but still modern and fresh (and all those equally cringey adjectives). I watch in awe.

I have an irrational fear of the weather changing and 1. not having had the use out of the clothes relevant only to the closing season's weather and 2. not having clothes that look weather appropriate to the new weather for fear of looking a) too keen for the new season's weather by wearing clothes appropriate to it or b) too nostalgic towards the closing season's weather by desperately throwing every last piece of appropriate clothing onto my trouble laden back.
CLEARLY I am worrying about SPRING, the most terrible of all seasons, where joy and bare legs or at LEAST fewer layers are obligatory for every occasion. Spring should be miles away, not to be concerned with for weeks if not months, but the sun is coming out (and even I can't complain about that: I have new sunglasses) - so I've got to get out of my black coma sooner than I'd like. It pains me greatly. Still, if I see anyone wearing yellow in February I'm going to vomit.
